<p>St Thomas Primary School is seeking a leader grounded in deep moral purpose and a shared vision for evidence-informed practice to fulfill the role of Learning Leader. The successful applicant will be offered ongoing employment at the school, as a teacher. The role of Learning Leader is a two-year fixed term leadership position with the possibility of reappointment.&nbsp;</p> <p>To support the next improvement cycle (2026-2029), St Thomas Primary School will introduce a Learning Leader in each learning community: Junior, Middle and Senior. This key leadership position is pivotal in driving an aligned and consistent approach operationally, in learning and wellbeing for a particular area within the school (F-2, 3-4, 5-6).&nbsp;</p> <p>Working in partnership with the Principal and Deputy Principal, the Learning Leader will promote a culture of high expectations and inclusion, grounded in evidence-informed practice, whilst modelling professional standards with compassion, calmness and knowledge. Leading with heart and purpose, the Learning Leader will work in close collaboration with their teaching team (F-2, 3-4 or 5-6) to oversee year level organisation, learning and behaviour needs, faciliate planning, coach and mentor. Whilst this is predominately an 'out of class' role, the Learning Leader works alongside and directly with their teaching team and cohort of students - within the learning space.&nbsp;</p> <p>Led by the Deputy Principal, the Learning Leaders form the school's Learning &amp; Teaching Team. This team will work together to bring to fruition the school's strategic actions and motivate a united investment in excellence, equity and engagement.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>A detailed summary of the role and responsibilities for the Learning Leader position, is attached.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>St Thomas Primary School is deeply committed to child safety.
