Reporting to the Principal and College Board, this position is responsible for strategic and operational leadership of the administrative, financial, and business functions, and the long-term sustainability and growth of the College.&nbsp;The role also acts as Company Secretary to the College Board. The successful candidate will be a high performer with an understanding of how the business operations support the educational outcomes for students. You will have a strategic and servant leadership mindset, and strong business acumen to manage a diverse and multifaceted faith-based organisation.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>A personal commitment to Christian faith and education, with regular attendance at a local church.</li> <li>Expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and reporting within an educational or not-for-profit context.</li> <li>Proven experience in ensuring physical and capital assets are managed and maintained, including facilities planning, maintenance oversight, procurement, and risk management.</li> <li>Strong understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and administrative functions relevant to an independent school setting.</li> <li>Ability to lead and oversee human resources functions including recruitment, performance management, staff development, and workplace relations, with a commitment to fostering a positive, values-based staff culture.</li> <li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to lead and motivate teams and build professional stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation and externally.</li> </ul> <p>Offered as a permanent full-time leadership role with a negotiated start date of no later than July 2026, applicants must have tertiary qualifications in accounting or business, and the right to work in Australia.</p> <p><strong>Emmanuel College</strong> has zero tolerance for child abuse and is committed to providing a child safe environment where children and young people are safe and feel safe, as outlined in the Child Protection Policy.</p>
