<p>Applications are invited from innovative educators, who have a sound knowledge of current 'best practices'.</p> <p>The successful applicant will be fully committed to working closely within their professional learning team, have a knowledge and understanding on <i><strong>Explicit Instruction and the Gradual Release of Responsibility Model</strong></i> in Literacy and Mathematics teaching, and be able to differentiate the curriculum to the needs of all students. A sound understanding of delivering a systematic synthetic phonics program, preferably Little Learners Love Literacy, is desirable.</p> <p>The successful applicant must have effective open communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate excellence in planning, documentation, and reporting.</p> <p><i><strong><u>The successful applicant will require:</u></strong></i></p> <ul> <li>the ability to promote the importance of Education in Faith in our Catholic community</li> <li>accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic school</li> <li>a current VIT registration</li> <li>a commitment to child safety and knowledge of the Child Safety Standards</li> <li>knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and Key Curriculum Knowledge Learning</li> <li>the ability to work in partnership in the areas of planning and the implementation of learning based on students' needs and interests.</li> </ul>
