<p><strong>About the Opportunity </strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a passionate and creative Teacher of Visual Arts to join our team in a temporary full-time position, commencing Term 1 2026 and concluding at the end of Term 3 2026. </p>
<p>This is a wonderful opportunity to teach Visual Arts across all stages, contributing to a faculty that values artistic expression, innovation, and the holistic development of students. As part of our collaborative department, you will deliver high-impact and engaging learning experiences that inspire students to explore and develop their creativity within a supportive environment.</p>

<li>Teaching Visual Arts across all stages, adapting lessons to cater for diverse student abilities and interests.</li>
<li>Creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages artistic growth and critical thinking.</li>
<li>Participating in the Loreto Normanhurst Student Growth Model, including opportunities to work within an Integrated Learning Team.</li>
<li>Fostering collegial and supportive relationships within the faculty and the wider school community.</li>
<li>Demonstrating a commitment to pastoral care and supporting the social and emotional wellbeing of young women.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Hold relevant education qualifications including current NESA accreditation and experience as a Visual Arts teacher.</li>
<li>Have knowledge of the syllabus requirements and ability to meet the aims, objectives and outcomes of the curriculum.</li>
<li>A genuine passion for and the ability to ignite a love of your subject in students across various stages. </li>
<li>Ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement.</li>
<li>Be a positive and collaborative contributor to a successful department committed to improving educational outcomes.</li>
