The <i>Shaping Tomorrow Together in Faith</i> Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning.</p> <p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast, Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 45 Catholic Schools with around 18,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The&nbsp;Learning&nbsp;Partner&nbsp;plays&nbsp;a&nbsp;significant&nbsp;role&nbsp;in&nbsp;providing&nbsp;subject&nbsp;matter expertise to support school leaders and teachers in building differentiated&nbsp;learning&nbsp;cultures,&nbsp;ensuring teaching&nbsp;quality,&nbsp;and&nbsp;student engagement and learning across CSBB schools.</p> <p>The role focuses on building a cohesive system of support to improve outcomes&nbsp;for&nbsp;learners&nbsp;and&nbsp;their&nbsp;access&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;curriculum&nbsp;as&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;the strategic initiatives.</p> <p>This is a highly collaborative role within the Student Achievement Workstream to build school-level capability to enhance access and participation&nbsp;in both&nbsp;primary&nbsp;and&nbsp;secondary&nbsp;students&nbsp;across&nbsp;CSBB schools. This&nbsp;role&nbsp;is required&nbsp;to support strategic&nbsp;projects&nbsp;and&nbsp;programs&nbsp;across CSBB, applying subject matter expertise in curriculum as well as providing key insights into educational improvement areas.</p> <p>CSBB employees contribute to the shared responsibility of safeguarding students in our care.</p> <p>This is a temporary, full-time role (1.0FTE) to start as soon as possible and end on 19 July 2026. This role will be based at our head office in Pennant Hills.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with leaders to provide subject matter expertise in K–8 Curriculum, Assessment and Pedagogy.</li> <li>Stay informed of the latest developments in curriculum, assessment, pedagogy, and broader learning trends, translating insights into system practice.</li> <li>Provide expert guidance in NESA NSW syllabuses, strengthening system leadership for successful implementation.</li> <li>Support leaders in developing data literacy to analyse school and student data and identify learner needs.</li> <li>Support leaders and staff in planning and implementing high-quality teaching and learning that meets diverse student needs.</li> <li>Apply contemporary approaches to professional learning that build leader and teacher knowledge of students and how they learn and strengthen professional practice.</li> <li>Initiate and engage in discussions about effective school processes and systems that enable quality teaching and learning.</li> <li>Provide advice and insight to assist leaders in reviewing, analysing, and adjusting teaching programs and practices to improve learning outcomes.</li> <li>Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based blended professional learning.</li> <li>Work in multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver goals of Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) strategic direction.</li> <li>Partner with schools and operational units across CSBB to implement requirements of relevant legislation and regulations.</li> <li>Communicate and engage effectively with stakeholders to advance the CSBB strategic vision and ensure school-based decision-making is evidence-informed.</li> <li>Contribute to a professional environment built on trust, modelling high standards and behaviour.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supportive of, and able to demonstrate, a strong understanding and commitment to the ethos of the Catholic faith in an educational context.</li> <li>Demonstrate a deep working knowledge of NESA NSW syllabus documents and the CSBB Religious Education Curriculum, with subject matter expertise in Primary Literacy and Numeracy.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of Curriculum, Assessment, and Pedagogy across K–8.</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in intervention strategies to support diverse learner needs.</li> <li>Highly skilled teacher with credible practice equivalent to Highly Accomplished level or above, with proven leadership in successful learning improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Skilled in contemporary approaches to the design, delivery, and evaluation of professional learning in a standards-informed environment.</li> <li>Experienced in coaching leaders and teachers to build capability through collaborative and evidence-informed processes.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to design and deliver professional learning that results in improved processes, practices, and student outcomes.</li> <li>Strong capacity to use evidence, research, and data analysis to inform educational strategies and improvement.</li> <li>Experienced in applying project management and change management methodologies to lead strategic reform and improvement.</li> <li>Effective collaborator, confident in working with school and system leadership to lead innovation, improvement, and change.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives, balancing workload to ensure successful implementation.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, tailored for different audiences.</li> <li>Customer-focused, responsive to stakeholder needs, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>NESA approved undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Teaching / Education or have the relevant experience</li> <li>A Postgraduate qualification in Educational Leadership is highly desirable, though not essential&nbsp;</li> <li>Accredited to teach in NSW</li> <li>Certificate (or equivalent experience) in facilitating adult learning, work force development or coaching</li> <li>Valid Working with
