We are a Catholic Coeducational Secondary College with two campuses, set on approximately 20 hectares of beautiful gardens and playing fields. MacKillop is an innovative learning community offering contemporary facilities, a vibrant curriculum and supportive wellbeing programs that are respectful and responsive to the individual needs of approximately 1,730 students from Years 7-12.
<p>We are seeking an inspiring educator who is passionate about holistic education and committed to nurturing the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of young people. The goal of the Thrive Curriculum is to form confident, resilient, and compassionate students who are holistically prepared to engage in the challenges of their learning and contribute positively to the culture of the College and the community.</p>
<p>The Thrive Leader will have responsibility for the design and implementation of the curriculum and programs that will promote inclusivity, respectful relationships, and personal accountability, all within the context of our Catholic Identity and Values.</p>
<p>In this role, the Thrive Leader will guide and support a range of wellbeing programs and initiatives that enable students to face the challenges of learning and life with confidence. The curriculum will equip them with the skills, habits, and dispositions necessary for lifelong learning, healthy relationships, and personal growth.</p>
<p>To be successful, we need an authentic and trustworthy role model, with an appreciation for the diversity and complexity of issues impacting young people, particularly those which may impact students’ ability to fully engage with their learning.</p>
<p><strong>This is a permanent role as a Teacher, with a Position of Leadership (POL 3 + 300 minutes of release time) allocated until January 2027. The successful applicant will commence in Term 1, 2026.</strong></p>

<li>outstanding communication skills, with a particular focus on displaying empathy </li>
