St Andrew's Primary School, seeks to employ a Learning & Teaching leader. St Andrew's School has an enrolment of 319 children. The successful applicant will work in partnership with school leadership to model effective Learning & Teaching practices, develop staff pedagogical practices & foster professional excellence and collaboration. As Literacy Leader, the successful applicant is to commited to the continuous improvement of literacy outcomes for all students and ensure literacy learning and teaching is focused, coordinated and responsive to students’ learning needs.

<p>St Andrew's School is seeking a dynamic leader to work in partnership with school leadership, staff, students and parent community. The successful applicant will embrace a shared role of Leader of Leanring and Teaching and Literacy Leader.&nbsp; &nbsp;The appointment will commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2026.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>This is an ongoing teaching position with the leadership role being a 2 year contract.</p> <p>St Andrew's community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>The successful applicant will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>be an instructional leader, demonstrate an ability to embed a culture of high expectation of student learning and build expert teacher practice which is evidence based, high impact and inclusive</li> <li>be an experienced teacher who embraces innovation and can lead a dynamic and committed team</li> <li>demonstrate the ability to gather and analyse data to inform and drive learning and teaching</li> <li>have relevant leadership experience within the last five years in Catholic parish primary schools, or current experience in a role associated with and supporting Catholic parish primary schools</li> <li>model the Catholic and community values of the school, working with the community of this school which is made up from families from diverse social backgrounds</li> <li>actively engage with students, staff and parents to promote a culture of learning and collaboration</li> <li>Work collaboratively with all others in the Catholic school community to strengthen and actively promote the Catholic Vision and Mission of the school</li> <li>provide an environment of inspiration, engagement and fun to the children in their care</li> <li>have a strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic Education</li> </ul> <p><strong>The successful applicant will have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>VIT registration</li> <li>a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to undertake a First Aid Course).</li> <li>adhere to our Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies</li> <li>RE accrediation preferred but not essential</li> </ul> <p><strong>Please note -&nbsp; St Andrew's Primary School reserves the right to appoint before the closing date.</strong></p> <p><strong>St Andrew's Primary School:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards.
