<p>The Head of Senior College reports to the Headmistress and leads Years 10–12 with a focus on student development, wellbeing and academic oversight.</p>
<p>As an Anglican school, Abbotsleigh seeks a Head of Senior College who is a committed and practising Christian, aligned with the school’s Anglican traditions. The successful candidate will be an active participant in the spiritual life of the school, fostering a community that upholds Christian values and principles.</p>
<p>The Head of Senior College provides visible, values-driven leadership across wellbeing and academic pathways and co-curricular engagement. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape a distinctive Senior College identity and to lead a team that promotes student agency, achievement and holistic care. As a member of the senior executive, the appointee will model collaboration, contribute to whole-school strategy, and ensure the Senior College is seamlessly integrated into the wider Abbotsleigh community.</p>
<p><strong>Key Selection Criteria </strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Expertise in leading teaching and learning across Years 10–12 with a clear focus on holistic student development that integrates academic progress, wellbeing, and co-curricular engagement.</li>
<li>Capacity to initiate, lead and embed improvement and change that enhances student experience, supports school strategic priorities, and strengthens the distinct identity of the Senior College.</li>
<li>Ability to nurture and lead high-functioning teams through trust, collaboration, shared purpose and a culture of continual learning.</li>
<li>Experience in the strategic and day-to-day management of a school setting, including oversight of staff, programs, operations and student wellbeing.</li>
<li>Commitment to fostering a positive, connected and future-focused school community through active engagement with students, families and colleagues across the school.</li>
<li>Active and visible commitment to the Christian faith with the capacity to lead a culture where spiritual growth, integrity, service and compassion are embedded in the life of the Senior College.</li>

<p>Offered as a full-time ongoing position commencing in 2026, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and hold appropriate teaching and leadership qualifications. AMasters in Educational Leadership or equivalent is desirable.</p>
