STAPCC is a state-of-the-art Kindergarten to Year 12 college that provides opportunities for students to be known, valued and challenged for the 13 years of their formal education and beyond. We aim to develop confident, independent young adults in richly resourced learning environments designed to engage students. The college is situated in close proximity to future university campuses, the South-West Rail Link and M5, on a beautiful, spacious property. It is an exciting time for the College as we will welcome our first Year 12 cohort in 2026. The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.<br><br>
This <strong>full-time</strong> role is scheduled to commence on <strong>Tuesday, 27 January 2026</strong>. <p><strong>About You </strong><br><br>
As a <strong>Leader of Wellbeing</strong> (wellbeing leadership of a secondary year group or primary stage) you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through quality wellbeing practices, high expectations and engaging and effective pedagogy. <br>
</p>
<p>To excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>commitment to Catholic Education, with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students</li>
<li>a commitment to academic excellence</li>
<li>exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of contemporary, evidence based pedagogical approaches that support effective learning and academic rigour</li>
<li>ability to create a culture of excellence and high expectations through positive support of student learning</li>
<li>extensive experience in a student wellbeing leadership role</li>
<li>extensive experience in working in collaboration with students, parents / carers, teachers, staff and other support services to maximise student achievement, wellbeing and learning outcomes</li>
<li>knowledge of relevant child protection legislation and Sydney Catholic Schools Pastoral, Wellbeing and Student Management policies, guidelines and procedures</li>
<li>high level communication, presentation and organisational skills</li>
<li>highly developed interpersonal skills and credibility in building relationships and community with students, parents and staff.</li>
</ul>
<p>You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li>
<li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li>
