<p><strong>About You</strong><br><br><strong>Good Samaritan Catholic College Hinchinbrook</strong> is seeking an enthusiastic <strong>Trade Trainer</strong> to work at our school. As a suitably qualified Trainer, you will be a dynamic educator, keen to engage and inspire our students and deliver a curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles. You will also play a vital part in developing and implementing effective lesson plans to ensure high-quality student learning and engagement.<br><br>
To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate;</p>
<ul>
<li>ability to deliver high quality, personalised training specific to the qualification</li>
<li>ability to support and supervise a group of vocationally focused students</li>
<li>ability to liaise with industry representatives whilst supporting the workplace learning program</li>
<li>effective teaching/coaching skills</li>
<li>sound written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>a commitment to quality education and training and to sharing your industry knowledge with your students</li>
<li>ability to work as part of a team of trainer educators</li>
<li>a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members</li>
<li>experience in training and mentoring young people in an employment or educational environment (highly desirable).</li>
</ul>
<p>You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>relevant industry qualifications in Human Services</li>
<li>Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or higher</li>
<li>Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40016)</li>
<li>recent relevant experience in the industry.</li>
</ul>
