<p><strong>About the Role</strong> </p>
<p>The Assistant Principal is a key member of the school’s leadership team, working closely with the Principal to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving school culture. The Assistant Principal supports the strategic direction of the school by contributing to collaborative decision-making, goal setting, and the implementation of initiatives that enhance teaching and learning. The Assistant Principla oversees the delivery of evidence-based practices, monitors student progress, and uses data to inform continuous improvement. A strong focus is placed on supporting teachers through professional development, coaching, and mentoring, while also strengthening partnerships with families and the wider community. This position requires a balance of instructional leadership, operational management, and a commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria </strong></p>

<li>Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching</li>
<li>ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration</li>
<li>ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration</li>

<li>Accreditation E or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn Policy </li>
<li>Practising Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community </li>
