<p>Based at our welcoming Bendigo Campus, we have an opportunity for a Campus Student Support Assistant to join our team. This is a full time, permanent position to start at the beginning of Term 1 2026. This role will see you supporting a Year 3 Student who is joining the campus in 2026 with additional learning needs. <br><br><strong><u>About You:</u></strong><br>

<p>The successful candidate will ideally hold a Certificate IV in Education Support (with previous experience desirable), or Certificate III in Education Support with recent relevant experience. You will be skilled in working one-to-one with a student with communication and learning needs to enable full participation in classroom and education activities. The role requires:</p>
<ul>
<li>Supporting the student’s communication by implementing strategies under the guidance of allied health professionals and classroom/learning support teachers.</li>
<li>Using alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) methods (e.g., visuals, devices, or gestures) to facilitate participation.</li>
<li>Demonstrating patience, flexibility, and strong observation skills to adapt instructions and learning activities.</li>
<li>Liaising efficiently with classroom teachers, allied health professionals, and campus learning support teachers to ensure consistent support.</li>
<li>Maintaining accurate learning and communication support records, including progress notes on strategies used.</li>
<li>Collaborating effectively with the classroom teacher, other staff and the Care Team.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for this role.</strong></p>
