We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pastoral Leader to join our team. As a Pastoral Leader, you will play a crucial role in the pastoral care, development, and well-being of students within a specific year group. You will lead by example, fostering a supportive, inclusive, and respectful community in line with our Catholic values in the Edmund Rice tradition.
<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a passionate and dedicated <strong>Pastoral Leader</strong> to join our team. As a Pastoral Leader, you will play a crucial role in the pastoral care, development, and well-being of students within a specific year group. TYou will lead by example, fostering a supportive, inclusive, and respectful community in line with our Catholic values in the Edmund Rice tradition.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the pastoral care and wellbeing of students within the assigned year group, fostering a positive and safe school environment.</li>
<li>Develop and implement year-level programs that support student development, wellbeing, and leadership.</li>
<li>Collaborate with faculty members, the pastoral care team, College counsellors and families to provide holistic support for students.</li>
<li>Support and encourage students to participate in co-curricular and community service activities.</li>

<li><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Education current NESA accreditation and a valid Working With Children Check.</li>
<li><strong>Experience in Pastoral Care and Coordination:</strong> Demonstrated experience or strong potential to coordinate and support a year group within a secondary school setting.</li>
<li><strong>Commitment to Catholic Education:</strong> Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and Edmund Rice Touchstones.</li>
<li><strong>Strong Interpersonal Skills:</strong> Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students, and to build positive relationships within the school community.</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Leadership Skills:</strong> Capacity to lead initiatives that promote student wellbeing, engagement, and community involvement.</p>
