A rewarding position teaching literacy and numeracy to intellectually disabled adults, initially on 1 day a week for a total of 44 weeks, on a contract basis in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
<p>Opportunities exist for skilled school teachers with a genuine desire to improve the lives of intellectually disabled adults in the areas of literacy, numeracy and independence.</p>
<p>Ideally you will have experience in the Special School or special needs area and an understanding of the requirements of the Vocational Education Sector.</p>
<p>A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or the Assessment Skill Set is desirable.</p>
