<p>Located in Croydon, NSW, Presbyterian Ladies’ College, Sydney is a Pre-K to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls, grounded in Christian values and widely recognised for its innovation, academic excellence, and commitment to care and inclusion.</p>

<p>After more than a decade of dedicated and exemplary service, the College’s current Deputy Principal will be retiring. We are now seeking an outstanding leader to take up this mantle and help guide PLC Sydney into the future. </p>
<p>The Deputy Principal reports to the Principal and is a member of the Executive, supporting whole-school strategy and leadership.</p>
<p>The Deputy Principal provides visionary, relational leadership and operational oversight of the Senior School. Acting as second-in-charge, this role balances strategic foresight with daily coordination, shaping tone, culture, staff and student wellbeing, learning environments and community engagement through a values-led, faith-informed approach.</p>
<p><strong>Key Selection Criteria </strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:</p>

<li>Commitment to Christian faith and values, demonstrated through visible, relational leadership that fosters a culture of grace, wisdom, service and reverence.</li>
<li>Ability to foster strong partnerships with students, families and the broader community, modelling clear communication, empathy and presence in every interaction.</li>
<li>A deep understanding of contemporary pedagogy, curriculum innovation, and academic excellence in a girls’ school context.</li>
<li>Success in leading whole-school improvement through strategic oversight, operational rigour, and collaborative change management.</li>
<li>Capacity to mentor, develop and support staff through a strengths-based, collegial approach that cultivates growth, professional learning, and high-trust culture.</li>
<li>Extensive experience in the operational management of a school, including compliance, risk, event coordination and day-to-day oversight of systems and routines.</li>
</ul>
<p>Offered as a full-time, ongoing position commencing in Term 1, 2026, applicants must have the right to work in Australia, current NESA accreditation and a valid NSW Working with Children Check.</p>
