Located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the College is renowned for its strong academic tradition, commitment to pastoral care, and vibrant co‑curricular program.</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused individual to join our team as a&nbsp;Study Supervisor.&nbsp; This role is ideal for a&nbsp;former teacher,&nbsp;education assistant, or anyone with experience working directly with students in a school or youth-focused setting.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong><br> As a Study Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a respectful and focused atmosphere during student study periods. You’ll liaise with teaching staff, support student wellbeing, and ensure accurate attendance records are maintained.</p> <p>This is a&nbsp;term-time only,&nbsp;averaged position, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 1:30pm.&nbsp;&nbsp; The position will commence either in Term 4 or Term 1 2026 (to be confirmed with the preferred candidate).</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervise students during designated study periods</li> <li>Promote a calm, respectful and productive learning atmosphere</li> <li>Liaise with staff to support student learning and wellbeing</li> <li>Maintain accurate attendance and behavioural records</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>We’re looking for someone who:</p> <ul> <li>Has strong interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>Is confident in managing student behaviour with consistency and care</li> <li>Demonstrates a genuine interest in student wellbeing and academic success</li> <li>Brings experience from a teaching or student support background (preferred)</li> <li>Respects the values and ethos of Catholic education.</li> <li>Holds or will obtain a Working With Children Check<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Child Safeguarding Statement</strong></p> <p>St Augustine’s College is committed to ensuring the&nbsp;safety and well‑being of all students.
