<p>St Aloysius’ College is seeking a dynamic and innovative<strong> Science Teacher</strong> to join the dedicated team at the St Aloysius’ College, Rozelle, campus. The College is looking for an educator who is passionate about delivering an inclusive, engaging, and holistic learning experience for Year 9 students, within an interdisciplinary curriculum.</p>
<p>Established in 2023, St Aloysius’ College, Rozelle offers a tailored educational program designed to support young men during the critical middle years of adolescence. The <i>Rozelle Learning Framework </i>provides our Year 9 students with the opportunity to engage in real world learning that encourages curiosity and space for student voice and choice. This unique environment and learning framework promotes academic excellence while supporting <i>cura personalis</i>, grounded in the Jesuit tradition.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be a Science specialist with the capacity to teach across an integrated program. You will bring creativity, academic rigour, and a student-centred approach to curriculum design and delivery, supporting both the academic and pastoral development of students.</p>

<p><strong>Your Application</strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate will demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition;</li>
<li>An understanding of the educational needs of boys and young men;</li>
<li>Appropriate secondary teaching qualifications, specifically Science and eligibility to teach under the requirements of NSW legislation and College policy;</li>
<li>Proven experience teaching Stage 4 and 5 Science is essential;</li>
<li>Demonstrate an interest or prior involvement in STEM initiatives is advantageous, though not essential;</li>
<li>Proven experience or demonstrate the capacity to teach an interdisciplinary curriculum is essential;</li>
<li>Ability to create a positive, supportive and engaging classroom climate that meets the academic, social and emotional needs of all students;</li>
<li>Ability to design, implement and evaluate curriculum collaboratively in accordance with College and NESA syllabus guidelines and outcomes;</li>
<li>Proven ability to ensure teaching and learning activities reflect contemporary pedagogy, including the ability to integrate an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning and differentiation strategies;</li>
<li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check.</li>
</ul>
