<p><strong>Commencement</strong></p>
<p>The commencement will be negotiated with the successful applicant, ideally at the start of the 2026 school year, 27 January 2026.</p>

<p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven ability to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum in all Key Learning Areas (KLAs), ensuring alignment with current NESA curriculum reforms. </li>
<li>Experience in planning, facilitating, and evaluating professional learning (PL) for teachers across a range of KLAs, including the development of resources, training modules, and LMS-based materials.</li>
<li>In-depth understanding of NESA curriculum, syllabus structures, and compliance frameworks, including the ability to support schools in meeting Quality and Compliance Registration requirements. </li>
<li>Experience in preparing for and supporting school audits, with attention to accuracy, timelines, and regulatory expectations.</li>
<li>Proven ability to inspire and lead others through strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. </li>
<li>Capacity to act as a strategic and instructional leader, using data, research, and evidence of impact to inform curriculum planning, resource development, and school improvement strategies.</li>
<li>Current driver’s license and willingness to undertake travel including overnight stays to fulfill the requirements of the role.</li>

<p><strong>Conditions of employment</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>This is a temporary position for up to 12 months. </li>
<li>This role is available as a secondment for staff already employed by Armidale Catholic Schools. This provides the successful applicant with the right to return to their substantive position and school at the end of the secondment period.</li>
