We are currently seeking an innovative and enthusiastic English and Drama teacher to join our secondary teaching team from Term 4, 2025. Stage 6 teaching experience and HSC marking highly favoured.

The successful candidate must have a commitment to academic excellence and be able to demonstrate their capacity to deliver a rigorous academic program.</p> <p><strong>Success Criteria:</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will:</p> <ul> <li>Be able to contribute to the strong academic culture of the school environment</li> <li>Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs</li> <li>Use relevant technology to support instruction</li> <li>Observe and evaluate student's performance and development</li> <li>Be willing to use student data effectively to inform teaching practice</li> <li>Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs</li> <li>Immerse themselves in the full culture and program of the College which may extend beyond the school day, for instance on a small number of Saturdays for Sport or for co-curricular activities to enrich student learning</li> <li>Undertake other duties as required by the Head of College or her delegate</li> </ul> <p>The successful candidate will possess the following core competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Exemplary teaching practice with experience across Stages 4–6</li> <li>Experience in marking HSC Drama is highly recommended</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Motivation, dedication and enthusiasm for learning</li> <li>Positivity and a high level of emotional intelligence</li> <li>High expectations for the learning and achievements of students</li> <li>Professional presentation and conduct</li> <li>A strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively</li> <li>Willingness to actively support the Orthodox ethos of the school</li> </ul> <p><strong>Note:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.</li> <li>Applicants may be contacted prior to the closing date of application.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
