We aim to work with our parents to produce young people of faith and character. We are a Catholic Co-educational College in Tarneit, West of Melbourne with 1300 students.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>The Property and Facilities Manager is responsible for the efficient, safe and sustainable management of the school’s buildings, grounds and facilities. This role ensures that the physical environment supports high quality teaching and learning, while meeting all regulatory, compliance and safety obligations.</p>
<p><strong>Salary</strong></p>
<p>The salary of $120,229 is be based on experience in accordance with the Education Support scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).</p>
<p><strong>Skills and experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the maintenance, repair and presentation of all the schools facilities and equipment at the Tarneit and GSC campus.</li>
<li>Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime and extend asset life.</li>
<li>Manage relationships with external contractors, trades and service providers, ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OH&S), building codes, fire regulations and child safety standards.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of assets, maintenance schedules, compliance checks, and contractor documentation.</li>
<li>Support planning and delivery of capital works, refurbishments and facility upgrades.</li>
<li>Implement and promote sustainable practices in energy, waste, and water management.</li>
<li>Coordinate logistics for school events, exams and community use of facilities.</li>
<li>Management of the property and facilities team.</li>
<li>Monitor budgets and contribute to forward planning for facilities and property management.</li>
<li>Representative on the Occupational Health and Safety Committee.</li>
