Wenona is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 student wellbeing and development with evidence-based strategies and interventions.

<p>Wenona is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our dynamic learning community. This role is vital in supporting the wellbeing and development of students K – 12, using evidence-based strategies and best practices to guide interventions.</p> <p>Wenona aims to encourage, challenge, extend and nurture each student in a way that allows her to achieve her full potential. To achieve this, Wenona prides itself on attracting intelligent, inspiring and motivated employees who serve to role model strong, positive relationships and are committed to fostering an environment where all staff are passionate about refining their skills and pursuing a love of learning.</p> <p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide psychological support and counselling for students facing academic, socio-emotional, and developmental challenges.</li> <li>Collaborate with families and staff to address student mental health needs and promote wellbeing.</li> <li>Conduct and interpret psychometric assessments (e.g. WISC, WAIS, WIAT) as required.</li> <li>Develop and deliver wellbeing programs, materials, and information sessions for students and families.</li> <li>Promote resilience, reflection, and emotional strength in students.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with child protection legislation and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and staff.</li> </ul> <p>This is a temporary full-time position with an immediate start, or at a mutually agreed date, until end of August 2026.</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will be an AHPRA Registered Psychologist along with APS eligibility. With strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and adaptability, you excel in building trust and fostering wellbeing. Your innovative approach supports student growth, and your commitment to child safety ensures an inclusive, engaging environment.
