<p>Kornmehl Centre Emanuel Pre-school is located at the northern end of the Emanuel School campus in Randwick. The pre-school’s philosophy is based on Reggio Emilia and has a strong emphasis on play-based learning.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Director of Kornmehl Centre Emanuel Pre-school is the nominated supervisor having leadership and management of the pre-school operations and reporting to the Principal and Deputy Principal of Emanuel School. The Director of Kornmehl Centre Emanuel Pre-school oversees all pre-school staff including an Educational Leader, educators and non-teaching staff.</p> <p><strong>The Director of Kornmehl Centre Emanuel Pre-school is a permanent, full time position and is a member of the whole school Executive team.</strong></p> <p>The following qualifications and experience are essential for this role:</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA),</li> <li>Be accredited with NESA (or eligible for accreditation) and hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>The following knowledge and experience are essential for this role:</p> <ul> <li>Nominated Supervisor in an Early Childhood Service or leadership position in an Early Childhood Service</li> <li>Proven ability in policy creation, strategic planning, communication, administration, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, team leadership and management of staff.</li> <li>Understanding and working knowledge of legislation related to the operation of an early education and care service e.g. WH&amp;S, the Early Years Learning Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy 2018)</li> <li>Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF)</li> <li>Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an early education and care service</li> <li>Prioritising child wellbeing and preventing harm to children and young people by adopting and adhering to the National Principles of Child Safe Organisations or relevant Child Safe Standards (NSW)</li> <li>Clear understanding of developmental needs and strategies to enhance every child’s experience at Kornmehl Centre Emanuel Pre-school.</li> </ul> <p><strong>How to apply</strong></p> <p>Apply via email to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:<a href='mailto:recruitment@emanuelschool.nsw.edu.au?subject=Director%20of%20Kornmehl%20Centre%20Emanuel%20Pre-School%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29'>recruitment@emanuelschool.nsw.edu.au</a>?subject=Director%20of%20Kornmehl%20Centre%20Emanuel%20Pre-School%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29" rel="nofollow"><strong></strong></a><strong><a href="mailto:recruitment@emanuelschool.nsw.edu.au?subject=Director%20of%20Kornmehl%20Centre%20Emanuel%20Pre-School%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29">recruitment@emanuelschool.nsw.edu.au</a></strong>.&nbsp;All applications must include a cover letter, CV and a copy of your qualifications.</p> <p><strong>Applications close Monday 8 September 2025.</strong></p> <p><strong>—---&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Emanuel seeks to be a child safe school</strong></p> <p>Emanuel School is committed to promoting the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of our students as our paramount priority.
