Commencing in&nbsp;Term 4, 2025, this is a tremendous opportunity to join our middle leadership team as the&nbsp;Head of Vocational Education and Training and lead a dynamic team.</p> <p><strong>3-year (2-point) Promotional Appointment (2025 - 2028) + full time permanent teaching position - commence&nbsp;Term 4, 2025</strong></p> <p>The Head of Vocational Educational and Training will oversee the implementation, development and promotion of the College's vocational education and training courses. &nbsp;This includes strategic leadership of the VET program and managing the day-to-day operations of all VET courses, including all VET administration to support the delivery of Hospitality subjects, Food and Beverage and Kitchen Operations and Cookery, Construction, Entertainment Industry and Sports Coaching. Further, the Head of VET manages all students studying EVET subjects (such as Real Estate) and any School Based Apprenticeships or Traineeships (SBATs).</p> <p>Reporting directly to the Director of Curriculum&nbsp;and a key member of the Curriculum Team, you will be focussed on building student capacity and knowledge by helping them prepare for further education, training, employment and lifelong learning.</p> <p>This is a 2-point paid position with extensive time release in recognition of the demands of coordinating this side of College life.</p> <p>This is a dynamic role requiring exceptional communication, interpersonal and organisational skills together with an ability to prioritise and work autonomously.
