We seek to foster a commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion to live life in such a way as to bring honour and glory to God, in staff and students alike.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>In consultation with the Educational Leader and other Teachers, lead the implementation of the ELC’s curriculum.</li> <li>Mentor and support colleagues, at the direction of the ELC Director, towards achieving strategic objectives.</li> <li>Work closely with the Educational Leader and Team to assess children and evaluate learning.</li> <li>Collaborate and communicate with parents/families.</li> <li>Plan, prepare and implement appropriate learning programs and environments for children, guiding professional practice based on Australian EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework).</li> <li>Work within a legal and ethical framework, based on NQS and national regulations.</li> <li>Attend staff meetings, taking an active part in critical reflections about professional practice, pedagogical strategies, ELC philosophy and curriculum, QIP, children’s learning and development, and the Planning and Assessment Cycle.</li> </ul> <p>For further information regarding the position, please view the full position description available on our website at&nbsp;<a href="https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment" rel="nofollow"><u>https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment</u></a></p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <ul> <li>A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord.</li> <li>Demonstrated passion for biblically-based Christian education.</li> <li>A personal commitment to Emmaus’ ethos, Statement of Faith, and Vision, Mission and Values underpinning the delivery of Christian-based education to children.</li> <li>Appropriate qualification in Early Childhood Education.</li> <li>Understanding and knowledge of the standards set by the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework.</li> <li>Knowledge and experience in the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of the National Quality Standard (NQS) process including ongoing review.</li> <li>Thorough understanding and implementation of a play-based curriculum.</li> <li>Behaviour management skills reflecting restorative practices and the ability to develop and demonstrate positive behaviour strategies and support children’s learning.</li> <li>High-level interpersonal skills and experience in working with staff, parents and students.</li> <li>Strong problem solving, flexibility, priority setting and time management skills.</li> <li>Ability to cope effectively under pressure in an emergency or stressful situation.</li> <li>Competent computer skills to manage documentation, learning resources and use of technology tools to support learning.</li> <li>Current Teachers’ Registration, valid Working With Children Check, RRHAN-EC and Senior First Aid certification (incl.
