<p>St Aloysius’ College is seeking to appoint an committed, creative, and innovative Visual Arts Teacher to join our vibrant Senior School Visual Arts faculty on an ongoing, full-time basis, commencing in Term IV, 2025.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in Visual Arts and a commitment to integrating contemporary pedagogy and innovative classroom practices that both support and challenge students. A collaborative approach to teaching and learning is essential.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will bring a genuine enthusiasm for artistic expression and who can integrate it meaningfully across various units of inquiry, inspiring a passion for learning in our students. The ideal candidate will embrace an inquiry-based approach to explore diverse ideas and interests in visual art.</p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity for either a recent and passionate graduate or an experienced educator who is committed to teaching excellence and student engagement.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Head of Visual Arts, the successful applicant will contribute meaningfully to the educational mission of St Aloysius’ College and its dynamic learning community.</p>

<p>The successful candidate will demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition;</li>
<li>Ability to create a positive, supportive and engaging classroom climate that meets the academic, social and emotional needs of all students;</li>
<li>Proven experience in teaching Stage 4 and 5 Visual Arts;</li>
<li>Ability to design, implement and evaluate curriculum collaboratively in accordance with College and NESA syllabus guidelines and outcomes</li>
<li>Proven ability to ensure teaching and learning activities reflect contemporary pedagogy, including the ability to integrate an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning and differentiation strategies;</li>
<li>Understanding of, and ability to use data to analyse, report on and manage student progress, and to report to parents in a variety of ways that keep them regularly and fully informed of their children’s progress;</li>
<li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check.</li>
