<p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>Reporting directly to the Principal and as a member of the Executive, the Director of Learning and Growth is responsible for the strategic focus and direction of the academic program at Redlands, the professional growth and development of staff and continually exploring ways to enhance student growth and achievement. This role will oversee the continued development and implementation of the Redlands Learning Platform (RLP) and the Redlands Staff Performance and Development Framework (RSPDF), working in collaboration with the Heads of Section, Deans, Middle Leaders and other members of the Executive to lead, motivate and inspire all staff and students to achieve exceptional learning outcomes within a culture of excellence.</p>
<p><strong>Key Selection Criteria</strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Proven ability to lead the strategic planning, development, and implementation of whole-school academic programs (P–12);</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of local and international best practice in pedagogy, curriculum design, and research-based innovation;</li>
<li>Extensive experience in leading professional growth frameworks, with a focus on individually growing staff;</li>
<li>Proven ability to lead a data-rich culture that uses a range of holistic student achievement and engagement data to inform practice, guide curriculum and reporting processes, and improve teaching and learning outcomes;</li>
<li>Highly developed skills in building collaborative relationships across diverse teams, engaging with internal and external stakeholders;</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to integrate emerging technologies into teaching and learning, working collaboratively with digital innovation leaders to enhance pedagogy and support the School’s educational objectives;</li>
<li>Comprehensive knowledge of state based curriculum and accreditation requirements, including familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme.</li>

<p>This is a full-time, five-year appointment commencing in January 2026. </p>

<p>A Master’s degree in education, leadership, or a related field</p>
<p>A current First Aid certificate</p>
