<p><strong>We are currently inviting applications for the following positions:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Library Officer (3 days a week - Weds to Fri)</strong></p>
<p>As part of our Library team, you will enjoy working in a welcoming space with stunning Lake Wendouree views. You’ll assist students and staff at the circulation desk by locating resources, offering reading recommendations and supporting research.</p>
<p>Your duties include supporting daily library operations with Oliver 5, supervising students during tests and marking attendance and assisting with copyright queries and equipment use. You will also be responsible for managing overdue materials and maintaining the library environment through shelving, tidying, preparing displays and stocktake.</p>
<p><strong>To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience working in libraries or an educational setting.</li>
<li>Relevant qualifications or training in Library Services, Information Management or Literature (desirable).</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a genuine willingness to assist others.</li>
<li>Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage priorities and use initiative.</li>
<li>Proficient computer skills across a variety of programs include the MS Office suite.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>College Archivist (2 - 3 days a week)</strong></p>
<p>The College Archivist is responsible for the collection, storage conservation and retrieval of archive records, and works closely with the Loreto Provence Archivist. As the College Archivist, you will provide access to records and historic material to the school community including current students and staff, past students and also to external researchers.</p>
<p>Your duties will also include maintaining and improving systems related to legislative and heritage requirements, ensuring that all archival materials are collected, documented and stored in compliance with relevant standards. Additionally, you will facilitate the efficient retrieval of archival records as needed, while ensuring adherence to the school's record retention policies.</p>
<p><strong>To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant qualifications or training in Records Management, Archives or Library Services.</li>
<li>Relevant knowledge of archives, records and experience with educational records and systems (desirable).</li>
<li>Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail with a methodical and systematic approach.</li>
<li>Proficient computer skills across a variety of programs include the MS Office suite.</li>
</ul>
