We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to work Monday to Friday during school term time.

<p><strong>We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to serve the needs of the Senior School (Year 7-12) Science faculty. These purpose-built facilities provide our lab technicians with an excellent working environment.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide technical support to staff.</li> <li>Maintain a safe working environment in laboratories and prep room areas.</li> <li>Follow applicable government regulations and College policies and procedures.</li> <li>Ensure that all equipment and resources are safely and appropriately stored, labelled and, when necessary, disposed of. &nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain equipment and chemical inventory, replenish stock levels and purchase equipment as required under the direction of the Head of Science.</li> <li>Undertake training as required to fulfill the requirements of the role.&nbsp;</li> <li>Keep SDS sheets and risk assessments updated and modified for requested practical activities&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with staff in a team environment, contributing to the College culture where service, integrity, and kindness are valued. This is likely to involve attending meetings and performing duties that contribute to the wider college community.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Selection Criteria</strong></p> <p>Preferred applicants will have demonstrated that they can do the work expected of them and should have specific qualifications that trained them to perform the duties listed above and experience performing these duties.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Contract</strong></p> <p>RHAC employees who are not teachers are employed under Independent Schools NSW (Professional and Operational Staff) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025 (CMEA). This is more commonly referred to as the PAOS agreement.
