Scots All Saints College (Bathurst) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Science Teacher to teach Stage 4, 5 and 6. This is a permanent, full-time role commencing at the start of Term 1 2026.

The College is a school of the Presbyterian Church of Australia and provides unparalleled space and learning opportunities in an environment where students can develop academically, culturally, socially and spiritually.</p> <p><strong>The successful applicant will show evidence of</strong></p> <ul> <li>Willingness to support the Christian Mission and Ethos of the College</li> <li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff and parents</li> <li>Adaptability to the diverse needs of students</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively with the team</li> <li>Initiative, enthusiasm and flexibility</li> <li>A current First Aid and CPR Certificate</li> <li>A valid Working With Children Clearance</li> <li>Current accreditation with NESA</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Professional Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>A degree in Science or equivalent with associated qualifications in Education</li> <li>High levels of classroom competence</li> <li>Knowledge of NSW Science curriculum or equivalent</li> <li>A high standard of organisational and time management skills</li> <li>Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and proven ability to relate to staff, students and parents</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable Professional Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience teaching to HSC level or equivalent</li> <li>Experience in science research or research methodology</li> <li>An ability to integrate and utilise ICT effectively within the classroom</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Personal Qualities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain constructive working relationships at all levels across diverse groups, including teaching and non-teaching staff.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively with all members of staff</li> <li>Demonstrate a high degree of discretion, initiative and personal organisation.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
