In this role, individuals should be enthusiastic, innovative and set high standards. The Technological and Applied Studies Coordinator should be comfortable interacting with a diverse student, staff and parent community. In addition to these important abilities, the TAS Coordinator will have:</p> <ul> <li>Teaching degree (Secondary) with a specialisation in and well-developed pedagogical content knowledge and expertise in TAS</li> <li>Successful teaching experience with the capacity to support and develop improvement in teaching and learning.</li> <li>Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to foster positive relationships with students, peers, staff and parents.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership of a team, improving the collective outcomes of both staff and student performance.</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of the NESA requirements for the TAS Key Learning Area Stages Four to Six&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a large and diverse team</li> <li>Exceptional personal standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism</li> <li>Highly refined communication skills, both written and verbal</li> <li>Ability to uphold and promote the Christian values and ethos of the College</li> <li>a current Working with Children Check</li> </ul>
