<p><i><strong>Commencing in the 2026 school year.</strong></i></p> <p><br><strong>About the role</strong><br><br> Catholic Regional College North Keilor is seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Diversity Specialist to join our dynamic team. This full-time role will be based in Keilor North, Victoria and will play a crucial part in supporting the academic and personal growth of our diverse student population.</p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with diverse needs, including those with learning difficulties, physical or intellectual disabilities, and English as an Additional Language (EAL) requirements</li> <li>Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure a holistic, student-centred approach to learning</li> <li>Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students, tailoring teaching strategies to meet their unique needs</li> <li>Monitor student progress, analyse data, and adjust learning plans accordingly</li> <li>Liaise with external agencies and service providers to coordinate additional support for students</li> <li>Contribute to the development and review of the school's inclusion and diversity policies</li> <li>Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in inclusive education</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li>A teaching qualification and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) and a recognised qualification in Special Education or equivalent.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience working as a specialist teacher or learning support professional in a secondary school setting</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of teaching strategies and learning support programs for students with diverse needs</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a range of stakeholders</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on personalised, student-centred approaches</li> <li>Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to supporting the personal and academic growth of all students</li> </ul> <p>A full copy of the position description can be found at www.crcnk.com.au under the employment tab.</p> <p><strong>What we offer</strong><br><br> At Catholic Regional College North Keilor, we are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for our staff.
