<p>St Agatha's School is seeking a committed classroom teacher to join our supportive and innovative team of educators.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p> <ul> <li>The successful applicant will teach a <strong>class of 20 Year 6 students </strong>within a supportive and experienced teaching team.</li> <li>This is a full time position, however, part time options will be considered. It is a fixed-term position till 26th January, 2026 with a <strong>strong opportunity to become ongoing</strong> with ongoing teaching positions soon to be advertised.</li> <li><strong>This position is available for an immediate start.</strong> Starting date can be negotiated with the successful applicant.</li> <li>Salary, $78,801 - $116,894 (full time rates)</li> <li>This is a teaching position under the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited, School and Secretariat Agreement 2022.&nbsp;</li> <li>The successful applicant will be <strong>supported</strong> to gain or maintain accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School</li> </ul> <p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p> <p>You are an <strong>experienced teacher</strong> or could be a <strong>graduate</strong> or with permission to teach <strong>(PTT) </strong>teacher with a passion for shaping the lives of learners.</p> <p>You may have experience working within <strong>Catholic Education</strong> or be from another educational sector and interested in developing experience in the catholic sector.</p> <p>You will have a great sense of humor and enjoy working within a team.</p> <p>You will be committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and you will have a commitment to excellence in learning and teaching and embrace expert teaching practices.</p> <p><strong>ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant must hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration with relevant teaching qualifications.</p> <p><strong>TO APPLY</strong></p> <p>Applicants are invited to call and speak directly with the Principal about the role if there are any questions or if you would like to attend a tour.
