<p><i><strong>About the Role</strong></i></p>
<p>The Head Teacher of English will be based at our <strong>Prestons Campus,</strong> with responsibility for overseeing the English program at our <strong>Shellharbour Campus</strong>, including periodic visits to provide leadership, support and ensure excellence across both sites.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead with vision and purpose, driving innovation in curriculum design and pedagogy.</li>
<li>Cultivate a collaborative, high-performing faculty culture, empowering teachers to continually grow.</li>
<li>Embed a culture of high expectations and differentiated learning, ensuring every student thrives across diverse abilities.</li>
<li>Inspire and challenge students in Years 7–12, to strive for and achieve their personal best, particularly in Stage 6 English.</li>
<li>Harness technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Champion rich co-curricular opportunities such as debating, public speaking and writing competitions.</li>
<li>Drive data-informed improvement strategies to lift student achievement.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications.</li>
<li>Demonstrated excellence in teaching Stage 6 English.</li>
<li>Exceptional organisational and communication skills.</li>
<li>A passion for innovation in teaching and learning.</li>
<li>Familiarity with the NSW Curriculum and Assessment framework.</li>
<li>Current Working with Children Check.</li>
