You should:</p> <ul> <li>be suitably qualified to teach Science subjects and be confident with the new curriculum</li> <li>have experience in leading and managing staff</li> <li>support and implement the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the College</li> <li>prove the ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners</li> <li>have skills in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students</li> <li>be highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices</li> <li>have the willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community</li> <li>promote and understand the importance of assessment practice, data analysis and feedback to enhance learning</li> <li>have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community</li> <li>be proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning</li> <li>have HSC marking experience which would be an advantage but not essential.</li> </ul> <p>You will have attained:</p> <ul> <li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li> <li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li> <li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br> Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
