Help us drive real change through our flagship <strong>STELR (Science and Technology Education Leveraging Relevance)</strong> program, to equip teachers and students with the tools to thrive in science, technology, engineering and maths.</p> <p>We’re on the lookout for a creative, knowledgeable and passionate <strong>STEM Curriculum Specialist</strong> to develop curriculum-aligned hands-on teaching and learning resources, deliver professional development to teachers and champion inquiry-based, real-world learning in classrooms across Australia.&nbsp;</p> <p>This is a unique opportunity to shape high-impact STEM learning experiences for Primary and Secondary students—and more importantly to support the teachers who deliver them.</p> <p><strong>Key accountabilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Design engaging, hands-on STEM curriculum</strong> resources for Science, Design &amp; Technologies, Digital Technologies and Mathematics, with a strong focus on Primary education.</li> <li><strong>Deliver inspiring professional development</strong> sessions that equip teachers with the tools and confidence to teach STEM through inquiry-based learning and design thinking.</li> <li><strong>Support the development of STEM education kits</strong> and accompanying training and instructional resources.</li> <li><strong>Represent STELR at national and state education conferences</strong>—presenting, networking, and showcasing our innovative programs.</li> <li><strong>Build and maintain relationships</strong> with schools, partners, and stakeholders to expand STELR’s reach and impact.</li> <li><strong>Contribute to program evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement</strong>, ensuring our resources are relevant, impactful and engaging.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate across teams and disciplines</strong>, contributing to a supportive, inclusive and high-performing organisational culture.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You're a creative and experienced STEM educator who:</p> <ul> <li>Has deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and a passion for STEM education.</li> <li>Is skilled in resource development and has a track record of empowering teachers through professional learning.</li> <li>Brings energy, innovation and a commitment to equity and accessibility in education.</li> <li>Enjoys working collaboratively and is excited to extend your reach beyond the classroom to bring STEM alive to students and teachers.</li> <li>Has outstanding communication skills, and is confident in delivering professional learning to adult audiences.</li> <li>Demonstrates a collaborative engagement to build trusting relationships both internally and externally.</li> <li>The opportunity to work in a ‘for-purpose’ organisation that lives it values every day and engages with you as a human being first and as an employee second.</li> <li>The opportunity to work flexibly.&nbsp;</li> <li>Generous unlimited annual leave provisions.</li> <li>Generous parental leave provisions.</li> <li>Wellbeing support programs including EAP services with individualised coaching and counselling sessions.</li> <li>Attractive remuneration package.&nbsp;</li> <li>Opportunity to work with a talented and cohesive team with ongoing training and development and career prospects.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>The opportunity to work in a ‘for-purpose’ organisation that lives it values every day and engages with you as a human being first and as an employee second.</li> <li>The opportunity to work flexibly.&nbsp;</li> <li>Generous unlimited annual leave provisions.</li> <li>Generous parental leave provisions.</li> <li>Wellbeing support programs including EAP services with individualised coaching and counselling sessions.</li> <li>Attractive remuneration package.&nbsp;</li> <li>Opportunity to work with a talented and cohesive team with ongoing training and development and career prospects.</li> </ul>
