<p><strong>AIEW position (2 days per week)</strong></p> <p>This position is to support Aboriginal and Islander students from Transiton to Year 6 and the focus will be in the three main areas of home and community liaison and engagement, input into teacher and school resources and student support.</p> <p><strong>Educational requirements:</strong></p> <p>High level of literacy and numeracy</p> <p>Working towards a relevant education qualification/ or the desire to start</p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p> <p>Commitment to contribute to the mission and Catholic ethos of the school</p> <p>Current Ochre card (or ability to obtain one)</p> <p>Strong indigenous cultural knowledge</p> <p>Ability to build positive working relationships with students, staff, families and the wider community</p> <p>Demonstrated strong work ethic and the ability to maintain confidentiality.</p>
