<p><br><strong>About the Roles:</strong><br>
We're seeking two dynamic, student-focused leaders who are passionate about wellbeing, confident in inspiring young people, and driven to shape a thriving school culture. While the teaching component of the role is ongoing and permanent, the leadership aspect is offered as a valuable fixed-term opportunity for an initial period of three years, with potential for renewal or future leadership pathways. If you're a proactive collaborator who leads with empathy and purpose - we want to hear from you!<br><br><strong>The Dean of Students (7-9) and Dean of Students (10-12) will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Together these roles will Lead pastoral care and student wellbeing across Years 7-12.</li>
<li>Develop, implement, and refine student development programs and support initiatives.</li>
<li>Support leadership structures, providing guidance to Year Advisors and Assistant Year Advisors.</li>
<li>Co-lead transition programs (e.g., Year 9 to 10)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A qualified and accredited teacher (NESA), with a valid WWCC.</li>
<li>Minimum 3-5 years' experience in secondary pastoral leadership (e.g. Assistant Dean, Head of Year) in an independent, coeducational school is desirable.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of adolescent development and wellbeing frameworks.</li>
<li>Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with students, parents, and staff.</li>
<li>Strong leadership presence, capable of managing complex pastoral cases and crisis response.</li>
<li>High emotional intelligence, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.</li>
</ul>
