We are searching to appoint an outstanding and experienced Communications Manager on a part time basis during school term time and non-term time within the Marketing and Communications team working 3 days per week

All CCGS staff participate in annual training in child protection. &nbsp;All statutory checks and references are required prior to confirmation of employment.&nbsp;</i></p> <p>The Communications Manager is responsible for leading the strategic community communications function and design communication for the community that fosters purposeful connections and alignment with strategic priorities.&nbsp;</p> <p>Further information is available on the school website at&nbsp;<a href="http://www.ccgs.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.ccgs.nsw.edu.au</a>, then select the Employment page to access the position description.</p> <p>To be successful you will need to possess and demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline</li> <li>A minimum of five years’ experience in a communications or public relations role</li> <li>A strong understanding of social media platforms and a segmented approach to communications strategy</li> <li>Excellent working knowledge of relevant digital platforms and tools</li> <li>Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work</li> <li>A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and show initiative</li> <li>High level of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality</li> <li>A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children</li> </ul> <p>Interested applicants should familiarise themselves with the School’s Strategic Plan ‘<i>Striving for Excellence</i>’, available on our website at&nbsp;<a href="http://www.ccgs.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.ccgs.nsw.edu.au</a>.
