<p>Founded in 1886, MLC School is an independent, nonselective Uniting Church school for girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 in Sydney’s inner-west. Our tagline ‘dare to be more’ is not only our goal for our students, it applies equally to our staff. <p><strong>Teaching at MLC School</strong></p>
<p>MLC School Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned to the MLC School Learning and Teaching Framework, policies and practices of MLC School. This position facilitates learning within a collaborative environment to cultivate in students learning dispositions of curiosity, collaboration, open-mindedness, accountability, empathy and self-awareness.</p>
<p><strong>Selection Criteria:</strong></p>
<p>To be considered for a teaching position at MLC School, candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in education and student wellbeing. The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:</p>
<ul>
<li>Current <strong>NESA accreditation</strong> to teach in New South Wales</li>
<li>Relevant <strong>tertiary qualifications</strong> for teaching primary/secondary students</li>
<li><strong>Current First Aid and CPR certification</strong></li>
<li>Sound knowledge of the <strong>NSW Curriculum</strong> and contemporary teaching and learning theory</li>
<li>Ability to design and deliver <strong>differentiated learning programs</strong> that cater to diverse learning styles and ability levels</li>
<li>Ability to integrate <strong>ICT and related technologies</strong> to enhance classroom learning</li>
<li>Willingness to contribute to the <strong>‘whole girl’ learning experience</strong> through co-curricular programs</li>
<li>A firm commitment to <strong>safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children</strong>, aligned with MLC School’s values and policies</li>
