<p>The College is pleased to announce, our VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) program at Parade College has become co-educational in 2025. The College welcomes full-time female student enrolments for the first time in our long history, into Year 11 in 2025. Starting in Term 1 2025, our VCE Vocational Major program, based at our Preston campus, has expanded our student offerings by introducing a new Tertiary Pathways Program. The Tertiary Pathways Program includes a second stream of our highly successful Sport Academy, along with a new Business Academy. Both academies provide a bespoke educational opportunity that allow students to gain direct entry into a number of undergraduate tertiary courses at La Trobe University upon completion of the two-year course. </p>

<p><u>The RTO</u></p>
<p>The Edmund Rice Trade Training Centre was established at the Bundoora campus at the beginning of 2010 and the Preston campus in 2013. To support the focus of the Centre, Parade College was granted Registered Training Organisation (RTO) status in October 2013. Since this time the College has provided pre-apprenticeship and VET training to students in years 10, 11 and 12 Our courses are delivered by fully accredited trainers whose industry based knowledge and skills remain relevant and current.</p>
<p><strong>The Position</strong></p>
<p>The College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated VET Teacher to join our team in an ongoing capacity. Applications are invited from individuals who can demonstrate a passion for electrotechnology and offer engaging teaching and learning experiences that will challenge and inspire our students.</p>
<p>The position is full-time and is available for commencement from Term 3 2025 (or by negotiation).</p>
<p>Candidates will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.</li>
<li>Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching</li>
<li>Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.</li>
<li>Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications i.e. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.</li>
<li>Be a registered (or willing to obtain registration) Teacher in Victoria or Specialist Vocational Education and Training (VET) Registration (Permission to Teach).</li>
</ul>
