<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>

<p>We are seeking a Teacher - Mathematics, responsible for delivering a cutting-edge curriculum at Sheldon College within the Mathematics Faculty. This role will also work in the Science Faculty teaching Middle College Science. Working with a dynamic team of dedicated educators, your goal will be to enhance the capacity and confidence of students and delivery of the ACARA Curriculum.</p>

<p>This is a contract role available for an immediate start or a Term 3 2025 start, running until the end of the school year (Term 4).</p>

<p><strong>About you</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications majoring in Mathematics and/or major or postgraduate in Education.</li>
<li>Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience delivering Mathematics curriculum in Secondary Education.</li>
<li>Ability to plan and deliver exceptional teaching and learning programs that meet the needs of students in Mathematics according to ACARA and QCAA.</li>
<li>Passion for quality teaching and learning and the ability to translate this into a challenging learning environment with strong student engagement and excellent academic outcomes.</li>
<li>Demonstrated capacity for reflection and self-directed learning with a commitment to continuously improve teaching practices.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience applying creative and innovative practices and processes in education and digital platform tools to support student learning.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues and partnerships within the wider community.</li>
<li>Strong team orientation with a willingness to contribute and collaborate.</li>
<li>High standards of personal integrity and professionalism.</li>
<li>Ability to be a proactive and collaborative member of a team.</li>

<p>Desirable Skills and Experience</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience and knowledge in preparing students for External Examinations.</li>
<li>QCAA accreditation in the QCE processes including Endorsement, Confirmation, External Marking.</li>
