We are looking for someone with the ability to teach Enterprise Computing and/or Software Engineering, Computing Technology and Digital Technologies. This opportunity is offered as a full-time, fixed-term role for Semester 2, 2025.</p> <p>Teachers are responsible for providing quality content and continuity of learning experiences for students; the delivery of best quality programs, teaching and learning activities and the achievement of student outcomes for all students within the subject area.&nbsp;</p> <p>A love of teaching and learning, initiative, an optimistic outlook, great organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional learning are all pre-requisites for the position.</p> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Possess appropriate tertiary qualifications for this position.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; NESA Accreditation to teach (accreditation at a minimum of Proficient Accreditation will be advantageous).</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Current Working with Children Check and National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).</p> <p><strong>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience teaching NSW / NESA courses.</li> <li>Experience teaching Digital Technologies from 7-10</li> <li>Ability to teach Enterprise Computing and/or Software Engineering.</li> <li>Attendance at appropriate professional development activities relating to teaching.</li> <li>Experience and knowledge of current practices in Digital Technology education and trends.</li> </ul> <p><strong>SKILLS &amp; CAPABILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining cooperative partnerships within an organisation.</li> <li>Skilled in negotiating conflicting interests to ensure a positive outcome.</li> <li>Be a team player with experience working within a team and independently.</li> <li>Well-organised and committed.</li> <li>Creative and energetic.</li> <li>High order critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.</li> <li>Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.</li> <li>A willingness to do what it takes to get the job done, coupled with a flexible approach and pleasant manner.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>KEY SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p> <p>The Key Selection Criteria will be used to select the Digital Technologies Teacher and are to be addressed in the application:</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to teach computing and digital technology subjects. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; An effective and engaging teacher with a demonstrated ability to cater to the individual needs of students.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of current educational issues and opportunities relating to the subject area.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to make a positive contribution to a team in a school environment.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to plan, implement and review academic programs.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff and parents of the College.</p> <p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong></p> <p>Your application must include a CV and cover letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria.
