This <strong>full-time</strong> role is scheduled to commence on <strong>Monday, 8 September 2025</strong>. <p><strong>About the Role</strong><br><br>
Due to the promotion of our Current Director of Wellbeing Casimir Catholic College is seeking to appoint a permanent, full-time, suitably qualified and highly experienced Director of Wellbeing to join the College Leadership Team in 2025.<br><br>
The Director of Wellbeing develops, implements and monitors pastoral care policies and programs in collaboration with key stakeholders, while promoting a positive and supportive learning environment within the College.<br><br>
This role will work collaboratively and support a range of internal and external stakeholders within the Casimir Catholic College community to ensure the promotion of student's wellbeing in accordance with the needs of the College and contemporary evidence based principles.<br><br><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
As a <strong>Director of Wellbeing</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br><br>
To excel in this role, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li>
<li>have the qualification to teach Religious Education</li>
<li>utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li>
<li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li>
<li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li>
<li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li>
<li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences</li>
<li>possess post-graduate qualifications in a curriculum area, educational leadership, Religious Education theology or student wellbeing is desirable</li>
<li>demonstrate experience of leading pastoral care and wellbeing practices</li>
<li>demonstrate experience in academic care associated with co-education, strengthening student wellbeing and diverse learning needs</li>
<li>showcase excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>have organisational skills, including multi-tasking and meeting deadlines</li>
<li>have strong attention to detail and record keeping</li>
<li>have the willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College</li>
<li>establish and maintain a culture of high standards and care for students and families</li>
<li>have a commitment to the child safeguarding principles</li>
<li>have the capacity to work with Leaders of Wellbeing to implement quality learning and wellbeing programs.</li>
</ul>
<p>You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li>
<li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li>
