St Marianne Cope Catholic Primary School, is a brand new school opening in 2026. We are seeking passionate, committed educators to join our founding teaching team, from Foundation through to Year 6.
This is a very exciting opportunity – and a unique challenge – to help shape the culture, learning environment, and Catholic identity of a school from the ground up.

<p><strong>Key Selection Criteria</strong></p>
<p>The successful applicant will demonstrate:</p>
<ol>
<li>A strong commitment to the ethos, values, and mission of Catholic education.</li>
<li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (or a willingness to obtain).</li>
<li>Proven ability to plan, implement, and assess effective and engaging teaching and learning programs in line with the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement. </li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li>
<li>Commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.</li>
<li>A passion for building a new school community and the resilience to navigate the challenges of a start-up environment.</li>
<li>High expectations for all learners and a commitment to excellence and equity in education.</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)</li>
<li>Relevant teaching qualification(s)</li>
<li>Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (or willing to obtain this)</li>
</ul>
