<p><strong>Secondary English/HASS Teacher – 0.6 FTE Contract (Term 3, 2025)</strong><br><i>Potential to increase to Full-Time</i><br> Faith Lutheran College, Tanunda – Middle &amp; Senior School</p> <p>Faith Lutheran College is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Middle Years Programme (MYP) at our Middle and Senior School and the Primary Years Programme (PYP) at our Junior School.</p> <p>We are seeking a passionate and dedicated <strong>English/HASS teacher</strong> to join our College community on a <strong>0.6 FTE contract </strong>for Term 3, 2025, covering a staff member’s leave. There is potential for this role to increase to full-time depending on timetable needs.</p> <p>At Faith, our vision is to <i>“inspire and equip every student to discover, develop and use their gifts, embrace life’s challenges and follow Christ.”</i> This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to that vision within a supportive and professional team.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and deliver engaging English and HASS lessons aligned with the MYP framework</li> <li>Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and wellbeing</li> <li>Assess and report on student progress using varied assessment methods</li> <li>Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning</li> <li>Use technology and innovative resources to enhance the student learning experience</li> <li>Support the pastoral care and development of students</li> <li>Be familiar with or willing to engage with the IB MYP Language and Literature subject guide</li> <li>Inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning in students</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Current South Australian Teacher’s Registration</li> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Education with specialisation in English and/or HASS</li> <li>Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and RRHAN-EC</li> <li>Strong communication, organisation and ICT skills</li> <li>Experience with or willingness to engage in IB MYP philosophy and practices</li> </ul> <p>If you're ready to make a meaningful impact and inspire students in their English and HASS learning journey, we’d love to hear from you.</p> <p><strong>Click the "Apply for Job" button to submit your application.</strong></p>
