<p>Emanuel is an independent, co-educational, Jewish day school from Pre-school to Year 12 situated in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. </p>
<p>We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team. With this job you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in all aspects of school life and help us showcase all the incredible things our staff and students do every day through our marketing, events and communication.</p>
<p>This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will be managing multiple priorities every day. This is an established role so you will be hitting the ground running getting involved in some exciting projects that are already underway.</p>
<p>This is a permanent, full-time position working 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required for occasional school events outside of regular hours, with advance notice.</p>
<p>You will work all year round, with the exception of the school closure period over December/January. Other leave is available throughout the year during the school holidays by mutual agreement and for Jewish Holidays.</p>
<p><strong>About the role: </strong></p>
<p>Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for the following duties: </p>
<ul>
<li>Day to day management of the Social Media and Digital Content Coordinator.</li>
<li>Be responsible for the content and creation of the weekly school newsletter (Ma Nishma) and review current practices to ensure best practice implementation.Branding and communications</li>
<li>Support social media content creation, scheduling, and audience engagement in collaboration with team members.</li>
<li>Collaborate on the development of consistent branding across all the School’s communication channels including, but not limited to style guides, brochures, and handbooks.</li>
<li>Manage the delivery of school publications including handbooks and brochures.</li>
<li>Plan, co-ordinate, and execute a wide range of school events in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Manage logistics, ticketing and communication of events across various channels.</li>
<li>Manage the development and ongoing maintenance of the new school website, including planning, content co-ordination and liaison with internal stakeholders and external developers.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About the successful candidate:</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking someone with tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline. Approximately 3 to 5 years experience in similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes. The ideal person will be proactive, self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently without close supervision. They will have an appreciate of children and young people of all ages and a willingness to immerse themselves in our school community.</p>
