St Vincent's College is seeking a highly motivated Alumni, Events And Community Relations Manager to co­ordinate the College's community engagement program, connecting alumni, parents, donors and other external stakeholders through events and other engagement activities.

<p><strong>ALUMNI, EVENTS AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS MANAGER</strong></p> <p><strong>Reports To:</strong> The Principal</p> <p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time onsite (occasional after-hours/weekend work)</p> <p><strong>Position Overview&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The Alumni, Events and Community Relations Manager plays a crucial role in co­ordinating the College's community engagement program, connecting alumni, parents, donors and other external stakeholders through events and other engagement activities. This role reports to the Principal and is integral to fostering a culture of connection and support within the St Vincent's College community.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p><strong>Alumni Relations and Donor Engagement</strong></p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Oversee Alumni reunions and other special ex-student events.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Support initiatives to engage alumni, parents, and donors, encouraging their support and involvement in the College community.</p> <p>o &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Liaise with relevant stakeholders regarding activities and mentoring programs that connect alumni with current students.</p> <p>o &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work closely with the Board, Foundation and Senior Leadership of the College to coordinate core fundraising activities, including major gifts, bequests, annual giving and donor relations..</p> <p><strong>Event Coordination</strong></p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Produce an annual program of events (including alumni reunions, parent events and donor networking opportunities) in consultation with the Principal and the Director of Advancement and Development.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Plan and execute a diverse suite of activities and opportunities to steward the community, ensuring successful planning and execution.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Set and oversee budgets for events, coordinating all communications and logistical aspects.</p> <p><strong>Community Relations</strong></p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and the Strategic Communications and Brand Manager to deliver a holistic community engagement plan as part of the overarching Advancement Strategy that aligns with the College's strategic plan.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide information to the Strategic Communications and Brand Manager to support the execution of an annual community communications strategy, including print and electronic communications, web and social media platforms.</p> <p><strong>Database Management</strong></p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Adhere to the College's Privacy Policy and relevant privacy laws in managing stakeholder data.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Oversee the ex-student database</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Oversee the fundraising database</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide parent data to the P&amp;F Association Executive Committee as requested while ensuring appropriate security and compliance with privacy laws.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide ex-student data to the Ex-Student's Union Executive Committee as requested while ensuring appropriate security and compliance with privacy laws.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Facilitate the identification of students and ex-students for profiling in College communications and as speakers for events and activities.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Continuously seek means to enhance and enrich stakeholder data.</p> <p><strong>Commuincations and Marketing</strong></p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide information and content, reporting on events and activities to the Strategic Communications Manager for timely reporting and publication of promotional material and social media.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Create content for the College's website and social media platforms, ensuring College stakeholders are kept informed about event dates and information.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor community social and web pages, including the P&amp;F Association and Ex-Students, providing updates as required.</p> <p><strong>Administration</strong></p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Oversee the creation and distribution of communications and event invitations to the College community.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage event registrations and record attendance for activities, ensuring all matters associated with replies, tickets and invoices are handled efficiently.</p> <p><strong>Collaboration and Relationship Building</strong></p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Act as the first point of contact for community inquiries, managing stakeholder communications professionally.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaborate with the Ex-students' Union, parent representatives and other committees related to Advancement - serving as the staff representative and coordinating meetings.</p> <p><strong>Risk and Compliance</strong></p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Adhere to College policies and procedures, particularly those related to risk management, WHS, and child protection.</p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Report any child protection matters directly to the Principal.</p> <p><strong>Professional Development</strong></p> <p>o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Continuously align skills and professional development to meet role obligations and enhance effectiveness.</p> <p><strong>Selection Criteria</strong></p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong track record in developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proven success in delivering high-quality events in a complex stakeholder environment.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience working in an independent school or university desirable but not essential.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience in writing for alumni and donor communications, event promotions and websites.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving collective success.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience working with CRM platforms and data analysis.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Willingness to engage in all aspects of College life, including attending out-of­hours events.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At least three years of relevant experience in an educational, not-for-profit or community engagement setting.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience in event management is required.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience in fundraising is desirable but not essential.</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
