<p><strong>Cyber Security Analyst & Senior Network Engineer</strong></p>
<p>St Aloysius’ College is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cyber Security Analyst & Senior Network Engineer to enhance, maintain and strengthen the College’s cyber security framework and network infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Information Technology, this pivotal role supports the strategic and operational goals by ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of IT systems across the College whilst fostering a culture of cyber awareness and resilience.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and networking within a high functioning IT environment and demonstrated success in implementing and maintaining security frameworks, managing infrastructure, and leading technical initiatives.</p>
<p>You will contribute directly to risk reduction, regulatory compliance, infrastructure performance, and end-user support. Additionally, your ability to successfully communicate technical risk to all stakeholders, provide strategic insights, and demonstrate leadership in security and networking initiatives will be key to your success in this position.</p>
<p>This role is offered on a full-time, ongoing basis and would ideally suit an IT professional eager to make a significant impact in a mission-driven educational setting.</p>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Commitment to the Catholic Education of boys in the Jesuit Tradition;</li>
<li>Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, cybersecurity and/or networking;</li>
<li>Hold industry certifications in CISSP, CISM, CCNP, Microsoft Security, or ASD-endorsed training;</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years’+ experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or senior networking engineering role;</li>
<li>Proven capability in securing hybrid IT environments and conducting risk assessments, security audits, and compliance reporting;</li>
<li>Experience in managing cybersecurity within an educational setting or similar environment, advantageous, though not essential;</li>
<li>A proactive and strategic approach with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions;</li>
<li>The capacity to develop and maintain a strong culture of compliance and cybersecurity awareness across all levels of the College community;</li>
<li>Demonstrated capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;</li>
<li>High level of interpersonal and effective communication (oral and written) skills;</li>
<li>Strong commitment to safeguarding principles;</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving and report writing skills;</li>
<li>Possess or willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check.</li>
