The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the talent acquisition function for Catholic Education Northern Territory (CENT). This position will be responsible for driving a talent acquisition strategy that creates a robust pipeline of candidates and ensures alignment between recruitment activities and organisational goals.

<p><strong>FULL-TIME | SALARY RANGE– $95,000 P.A PLUS SUPER | PERMANENT |</strong><br><strong>COMMENCING IMMEDIATELY OR AS NEGOTIATED</strong></p> <p><strong>An exciting opportunity exists for a Talent Acquisition Officer supporting our schools in the Northern Territory. The position is based at the Catholic Education Office, Berrimah.</strong></p> <p><br><strong>The Organisation:</strong><br> Catholic Education Northern Territory is a network of schools built on Christian values and on the history and traditions of this land across Australia's top end. Catholic Education has a network of 18 Catholic schools in the Northern Territory - five colleges, seven primary schools, one flexible learning centre, and five remote schools.</p> <p><br><strong>The Position:</strong><br> Working closely with the HR Manager, the Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the talent acquisition function for Catholic Education Northern Territory (CENT). This position will be responsible for driving a talent acquisition strategy that creates a robust pipeline of candidates and ensures alignment between recruitment activities and organisational goals.</p> <p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage the recruitment life cycle, from job posting to candidate offer, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.</li> <li>Work closely with hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each department and role, providing guidance on job descriptions, candidate profiles, and interview processes.</li> <li>Provide leadership and guidance to the Recruitment and HR Administrator.</li> <li>Support the implementation and rollout of software applications to support recruitment, Onboarding &amp; HR service delivery throughout CENT.</li> <li>Create and build a sustainable talent pipeline, ensuring a steady supply of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.</li> <li>Work with the HR Manager to conduct proactive talent mapping to identify and engage high-potential candidates for critical roles, ensuring the CENT is prepared for future workforce demands.&nbsp;</li> <li>Act as a Brand Ambassador for CENT at external forums and event days.</li> <li>Full details are outlined in the position description.<br> &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, interview techniques, and candidate assessment.</li> <li>Excellent technology literacy using Recruitment Software systems.</li> <li>Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in an environment that includes workers of varying ethnic and cultural backgrounds.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.</li> <li>Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks.</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Human Resource or equivalent qualifications;</li> <li>A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience.</li> <li>NT Driver's licence.</li> <li>Current NT Working with Children Check Ochre Card.</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive Salary</li> <li>Relocation Assistance up to $2,500</li> <li>Excellent Work Life Balance – Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM</li> <li>Funded Professional Development</li> <li>Employee Assistance Program</li> <li>Discounted School fees in Catholic Education NT Schools</li> </ul> <p><br> This position may involve working with children.
