Seeking a Head of Music for our Primary School to lead the Primary Music Team from Pre-School to Year 6 across both our campuses.

They provide guidance to a team of highly qualified and committed teachers, developing a climate of excellence and articulating a vision for an education that is inclusive, rigorous and prepares students for the 21st century.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Head of Primary Music ensures that the teaching, learning, resources, and services are central to the implementation of the Primary Years Programme and support the Music needs of the school community.&nbsp;The Head of Primary Music is a person who can communicate a clear vision and who will drive forward innovative and dynamic approaches in the Primary School Music Team. They will work in collaboration with the Head of Music Department and the Director of Academic Education, as well as assisting the Music Team to connect and collaborate with the Senior School and within Cocurricular.</p> <p>The Head of Primary Music will ideally have experience of the Australian Curriculum programmes requirements, the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, and/or the Early Years Learning Framework.&nbsp; This role has a 0.7 FTE teaching load and an allowance of 0.1 FTE for Head of Primary Music duties. It is expected that&nbsp;they will be in attendance for part of the week prior to the start of the school year for teachers to support new team members entering the school.
